Where the Date Night tour will be going
To offer the largest number of shows possible, we will be focusing on South Bristol for this opening tour of Date Night. We hope to announce further dates beyond this area soon, so if you live outside the advertised areas and would like to host the show in the future, please email tickets@tobaccofactorytheatres.com
Start times
Date Night will be performed on 3-4 doorsteps per night, and advertised start times are approximate due to the varied travel distances that there will be between performances. Once you have booked a performance, a member of the Date Night team will be in touch with further information about timings and other details.
Setting
You don’t need a huge driveway or garden to book Date Night, we can adapt to most doorsteps. However, you may need to book for a smaller group to fit everyone! For a garden performance, the Date Night team will need to be able to access the space without needing to walk through your house (i.e. via a side alleyway). The booking form asks you to describe the specific type of location where you would like the performance to take place.
What you need to do before the performance
You will be asked to provide some light hearted information before the performance of Date Night so that the content of the show can be tailored specifically to you. There will be a couple of opportunities for you to contribute further during the performance itself, but don’t worry – these moments will not be at all scary!
What you’ll need for the performance itself
If you’ll be more comfortable watching the performance on chairs, please set some out for yourselves. Otherwise you are welcome to perch on your doorstep, sit on the floor or lean in a stylish way! You don’t need to provide anything else: the Date Night team will bring everything they need for the performance. So pour yourselves a drink, relax and leave the rest to us!
What to do if you want to increase your group size after booking
Please contact the Tobacco Factory Theatres Box Office at tickets@tobaccofactorytheatres.com or on 0117 902 0344 if you would like to add extra tickets to your group after making your original booking. The cost of extra tickets will be calculated in accordance with the pricing plan for the show, which can be found on the main show page. Please note that Date Night can be performed to groups of up to 20 people.
Covid-19
The performance is entirely Covid-secure. The performers will not make physical contact with you or your belongings at any point and they will remain at least 1m from you at all times (and normally 2m). The performers and stage manager are testing daily and are part of a performance bubble, so they can safely make physical contact with one another. We will maintain these standards throughout the tour to ensure maximum safety and confidence for our team and our audience.
What if it rains?
We go ahead regardless so please get your umbrellas and raincoats at the ready!
