We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well at this difficult time.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic we have closed our doors and are cancelling or postponing shows until the end of July. The health and wellbeing of our community is our highest priority, and during this time we will be doing all we can to support the effort against COVID-19 and protect local jobs.
We are currently working hard to reschedule upcoming performances, and all ticket holders will be contacted shortly. Please bear with us in the meantime.
As a charity that is only 5% publicly funded, we are in the midst of an enormous challenge. Audiences are our reason for existence and they are also our lifeblood – providing over 75% of our annual income. With no audiences visiting for at least five months, the future of Tobacco Factory Theatres is under serious threat.
Given the scale of this challenge, we are asking for your help if you are able. A donation of any amount will play a crucial part in securing the future of our enterprising and community-led theatre, and enable us to support artists who’ve lost work.
Thank you for your friendship as we navigate this difficult period. You’ll undoubtedly have been affected by the Coronavirus outbreak personally, and we are sending you our kindest wishes until we see you again.
