    How to Sign Up to the New Membership Payment

    To sign up to the new membership payment system please read the steps set out below before clicking on the link at the bottom of this page:-

    1. Click onto the membership type you wish to hold
    2. Ensure the Automatically Renew box is ticked**
    3. Add the membership to your basket
    4. Follow the instructions on the screen to finalise payment

    what is auto Renew?

    Auto renew is a way of automatically renewing your membership at the point it is due to expire without needing to input your payment details each time, whether you pay monthly or annually.

    Our ticketing system, Spektrix, uses “continuous authority”  which enables the payment for renewal to be automatically taken from the card details you make the initial payment on.

    By using the auto renew system (continuous authority),  we as the charity do not incur Direct Debit fees, which ensures that 100% of your membership donations are used to support the work we do.

    Auto Renew gives all members the flexibility to cancel at any point.

    If you do not tick auto-renew, you will be sent a reminder to manually renew your membership when it is due to expire. This will either be monthly or annually depending on your membership type.

    NEXT STEPS

    Once you have completed the step above, there is nothing more you need  to do.

    The team at TFT will cancel your Direct Debit via the old system (CAF) within two working days of swapping membership payment methods.

    Please note that the CAF Direct Debit system needs 72 hours to process a cancellation. Should your Direct Debit be processed during the changeover, please let us know and we will organise credit to your membership account for the relevant amount.

    Gift Aid

    Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities to reclaim 25p of tax for every £1 donated by a UK taxpayer, effectively increasing the value of donations by 25%
