Love theatre? Want to be a part of something exciting? Then it’s time for you to join our Young Theatre Makers!
Over the term, you will learn new skills, meet new people and really develop your talents as a performer. Our sessions are energetic, challenging, educational and enjoyable!
This term, you’ll be working towards a performance in July. As a company, you’ll devise your own piece of theatre to share with friends and family, performing in our very own Factory Theatre.
The aims of our classes are to:
- Inspire young people to engage in theatre and the arts.
- Enable young people to explore their creativity and imagination, build confidence, have fun and make new friends.
- Create brilliant pieces of theatre that push the boundaries of our expectations of young people.
IMPORTANT
We are working towards a performance on Sun 05 July so please ensure that you are available for the additional rehearsal / performance. Both of our YTM 7:10 companies each perform, as well as our YTM 11:13 Company.
ADDITIONAL REHEARSAL: Sun 05 July 9.30am – 6pm
PERFORMANCE: Sun 05 July 6pm
Tickets for the performance will go on sale in June 2020. There will be a 4 x ticket limit per booking in order to ensure that everyone is able to get tickets (we will have 75 young people performing). Any unsold tickets will become available for general purchase from Wed 01 July 2020.
