“What am I doing, talking to a flower? You obviously can’t respond to me…
But if you could, I wonder, what would you say?”
Nadia and Elliott are returning home after the funeral of Nadia’s father. The pair don’t know how to cope with the loss and so we watch their relationship go through the five stages of grief. They uncover each other’s secrets and wrongdoing’s as we learn that Nadia may be losing her father a second time…
This beautiful and ugly story of grief in all its wholeness is an ode to anyone who has been told that ‘it will all get better’ when that feels impossible.
