UPDATE: EXTRA dates ADDED DUE TO DEMAND! Now running until Sat 24 September.

Presented by Tobacco factory theatres beyond

Directed by Adam Spreadbury-Maher and Greg Esplin

Following a sold out, extended run in Bristol as part of Tobacco Factory Theatres BEYOND in April 2016, we are thrilled to bring back this hit production of Irvine Welsh’s cult, generation-defining novel. This phenomenal show will return to its original location of the Loco Klub, in the depths of the Temple Meads tunnels, to excite new audiences and those who just didn’t have enough the first time around!

This punchy production recaptures the passion and the controversy of the famous novel and the globally successful film, and repackages it into a totally immersive production – the audience are literally part of the show, including the notorious ‘Worst Toilet in Scotland’ scene. Even Irvine Welsh described it as “shocking… and I wrote the f*cking thing!”

For avid fans this is a must, and if you’ve never read the book or seen the film: this is your ticket to a ride you won’t soon forget.

PLEASE NOTE: The following video contains very strong language and scenes of violence, drug use, and strobe lighting.

    • RUNNING TIME1hr 10mins

Contains scenes of nudity, drug use, violence of a sexual nature, claustrophobia and very strong language.

Due to content in the show, the Loco Klub will not admit anyone to a performance who is under 18.

Please note that the show delivers an entirely immersive experience for audiences and takes place in a unique venue. Please dress appropriately and do not wear your best clothes!
