    About

“The ritual is broken…or the story is broken…and I don’t know if we’re supposed to fix it.”

In Seder, Adam Kammerling unpacks the tangled stories we carry — and why we choose to tell them — through a performance of spoken word, dance, physical theatre, and live music.

Rooted in the Jewish ritual of the same name, Seder is a decade in the making. This powerful interdisciplinary performance dives deep into memory and identity — confronting inherited grief, unspoken truths, and the unexpected harmony between heavy metal and Jewish tradition.

A dynamic non-linear storytelling experience, Seder is a ritual for now — asking what survival means, in confronting times, and how we pass it on.

Developed with world-leading artists in response to the recent war crimes in Gaza and the ongoing oppression of the Palestinian people, this show, unable to tour in 2024 due to safety concerns, demands a renewed relationship with the loyalties we hold in grief.
