Bristol Old Vic Theatre School are proud to present their 3rd Year BA Acting Students’ production of Romeo & Juliet as part of the School’s 80th Anniversary Autumn Season.
Directed by School alum and former Artistic Director of the Royal shakespeare company – Sir Gregory Doran
The School’s anniversary year kicks off with a flagship production of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. In a major coup for the School, the production will be directed by world-renowned Shakespeare expert and alum of the School - Sir Gregory Doran.
Adding to the “full circle” nature of the project, the production features set and costume design by fellow alum Aldo Vazquez.
Taking to the Tobacco Factory Theatres stage this October, the production will showcase 50% of the graduating BA Professional Acting cohort from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, offering audiences a chance to see the stars of tomorrow directed by a titan of the British stage.
This version of Romeo and Juliet is also perfect for School groups who are looking to bring students studying Romeo and Juliet for GCSEs and there are special School group discounts available – including £5 tickets for students and free for teachers.
