Take part in this exciting opportunity to create a play in a day and perform in our Factory Theatre.
Working as an ensemble you will devise, direct and create a short performance that will be shared with family and friends at the end of the day. This is a fun and physical workshop – expect story making, movement, drama and play! All are welcome – no previous experience necessary.
WHAT TO EXPECT
9.45am Arrive and register
10am – 12.15pm Morning Session (including breaks)
12.15pm – 1pm Lunch
1pm – 4pm Afternoon session (including breaks)
4pm A short warm up in the Factory Theatre
4.30pm Perform in the Factory Theatre to family and friends.
The sessions are led by skilled theatre makers with strong backgrounds in creating work with and for young people.
The day will include:
• Fun and energising warm up games
• Voice work
• Acting and ensemble movement
• Devising
• Storytelling
• Rehearsals for performance
WHAT TO BRING
Please ensure your child:
• Arrives in good time
• Wears comfortable clothing and footwear that allows them to move freely
• Brings a packed lunch and snacks
