    About

‘Masterful… So touching and telling.’ Alba Nu Sweden

Celebrating over 13 years of working together, the critically acclaimed team behind the making of international hits The Nature of Forgetting and BIRTH opens up their precious notebooks and share how their magic works. By doing so the magic seems more impressive, more real and more magical. Weaving Katherine Graham, Guillaume Pigé and Alex Judd’s personal stories of becoming parents and reaching mid-life with theatrical imagination, they unpick their creative bond, re-evaluate success and make a new show exploring time, fatherhood and grief.

Ultimately, Moments is about attentiveness to; magic in the making of new work; poetry in our everyday; moment-by-moment existence; life as we live it.

‘I give it (grandfather’s watch) to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all your breath trying to conquer it.’ William Faulkner, The Sound and the Fury

The development of this new project is funded by Arts Council England, co-commissioned by London International Mime Festival, and supported by The Point Eastleigh, Shoreditch Town Hall, The Lowry Salford and University of York. It will take place over a number of months in 2023 and 2024.
