Walrus’ award-winning debut show Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons had a hit, sold-out run when it played as part of our BEYOND season in April 2016. We are delighted that it now returns to Tobacco Factory Theatres at the end of a UK tour.

The average person will speak 123,205,750 words in a lifetime. But what if there were a limit? Bernadette and Oliver are about to find out.

This taut two-hander imagines a world where we’re forced to say less; examining how we express ourselves, personally and politically, through the lens of one couple’s relationship. It’s about what we say and how we say it; about the things we can only hear in the silence; about dead cats, activism, eye contact and lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons.

Walrus is a young company made up of graduates from the University of Warwick. We were exceptionally proud to present their Bristol debut as part of Tobacco Factory Theatres BEYOND earlier this year and can’t wait to have them back to our Factory Theatre following a summer performing at the Edinburgh Fringe.
