Kendal Mountain Tour 2022

    Kendal Mountain Tour 2022

    Unleash your adventurous side…

Join us for an evening celebrating adventure from some of the most spectacular places on earth, brought to you by the team behind Kendal Mountain Festival.

You’ll be guided through a curation of short films from across the globe, told by a unique collection of travellers, athletes, activists and creatives.

Alongside the collection of films, will be a talk from inspiring ultra-runner Sabrina Pace-Humphreys.  A 42 year old mother of four and grandmother of two, a trail and mountain ultra running athlete, personal trainer, podcast host and activist. Finding Identity Outdoors – Representation Matters! The outdoors is a place of healing, a place to reconnect, a place to be at one with nature. But for so long the outdoors has been a place with visible and invisible barriers to access for people of colour. Why is it important that these walls are broken down, and what does real access to the outdoors mean to these diverse communities. Why is representation in these spaces so important?

In this talk, Sabrina Pace-Humphreys, co-founder and trustee of community, campaigning group and charity, Black Trail Runners discusses these barriers, how the outdoors community can work together to address them and her vision for a truly inclusive outdoors.

Sabrina joins us to share tales from her incredible running adventures.

The evening will be hosted by Kendal Moutain Director Steve Scott.
