Written by Evan Placey
From an original work by Robert Louis Stevenson
“I realised only very recently that I was living someone else’s life.”
Refined, well-read and absolutely repressed, Hattie Jekyll is every inch the Victorian lady. When she decides to continue her deceased husband’s revolutionary scientific research, strange things start happening and Hattie feels quite unlike herself. Soon, whispers of the 21st century distort the timeline and her whole world unravels.
Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s seminal novella, Jekyll & Hyde is a radical reimagining of the Gothic classic brought bang up to date.
