SPRING HAS SPRUNG!
Join us for a full day of games, improvisation, script writing and performance. The perfect way to have fun, use your imagination and make new friends!
Young people will be encouraged to expand their self-confidence, communication ability and team work skills. The day will be fun and creative and will involve a range of physical and craft activities. The sessions are led by skilled theatre makers with strong backgrounds in creating work with and for young people.

No experience needed. Everyone is welcome.
Workshop Facilitator – Lizzie Wiggs
Lizzie is an interdisciplinary artist whose training includes two years at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris.
Central to her work is the desire to create space for connection and community; creating collaboratively with artists and communities in non-traditional theatre spaces. She has over 15 years experience teaching and directing young people of all ages – from primary through to University age. Lizzie has worked as a Mentor director, supporting schools and youth groups taking part in the National Theatre Connections Festival for the last 5 years and is currently an Associate Director for National Theatre Connections Festival 2023.

IMPORTANT: We have two 8:10 workshops (one on Thu 13 April and the other on Fri 14 April). Please ensure you book for the group that matches your date preference. Both sessions will be exactly the same.
Pay What You Choose (PWYC)
The true cost of running these sessions is £45 per person, but we have a subsidised option at £28 per person intended for those from low income households. We also have bursary places available for people facing financial difficulty. It is important to us that anyone who wants to take part can do so.
