Born in Madrid in 1987, José Franco graduated in Spanish Dance and Flamenco at the Carmen Amaya Professional Dance Conservatory.
He has been part of the companies of Aida Gómez, Ballet Español Rafael Aguilar, Bfm, Centro Andaluz de Danza, Taller Ballet Nacional de España and the Carmen Mota company. A special mention to his participation as a member of Sara Baras Flamenco Ballet too.
In 2016 he premiered his first solo show “Flamenco en el XXI” under the musical direction of guitarist from Estepona Daniel Casares. In 2018 he premiered his second show “A sola2” at the Florida Theater in Algeciras. In 2023 he premiered his third show “Un toque de baile”.
He is currently co-director, choreographer and teacher of the creative space “El Taller del Arte” in Estepona, Malaga, and performs locally in different tablaos, most recently Teatro Flamenco de Malaga.
