A brilliantly savage play about workplace bullying, Mike Bartlett’s smash hit BULL offers ringside seats as three employees fight to keep their jobs.
Bartlett was inspired to write his razor-sharp play while watching a bullfight in Mexico City. “It elicited something disturbing in the audience and yet it was thrilling … I’m asking why we enjoy cruelty.”
This homecoming production opens at Sheffield Playhouse, marking a decade since its Olivier-award winning transfer from Sheffield to London’s Young Vic in 2015.
