    About

BE FESTIVAL is Birmingham’s international festival of performing arts and we’re delighted to present highlights from it again in collaboration with Circomedia. This year Best of BE FESTIVAL features a trio of festival favourites from across Europe; three 30 minute bursts of mask theatre, contemporary performance and comedy circus.

Kulunka Teatro present André and Dorine, a piece about an old couple who battle to remember what once held them together after the sudden onset of Alzheimer’s disease. It is a heart breaking story told through stunning mask work.

Romain Teule’s brilliant show Légende unpacks the possibilities of language and the playful mischief of miscommunication.

In What Does Stuff Do? Bristol-based performer Robin Boon Dale trips his way, literally, through a hilarious motivational circus lecture – you’ll never think about water or ping-pong the same way again.
