PRESENTED AS PART OF BRISTOL FESTIVAL OF PUPPETRY
In this talk award winning director Sam Koji Hale will reveal the art and processes of bringing puppets to life on screen, from concept art through fabrication to the finished film. He directed Yamasong: March of the Hollows, the first feature length puppet film since Team America and Strings in 2004.
Sam is a storyteller, sculptor, illustrator and designer who enjoys collaboration with other artists to create new worlds in the puppet medium. We are delighted to be working with him to share his knowledge and skills with our audiences.
