An Evening with JOW (EP & Coffee Launch)

An Evening with JOW (EP & Coffee Launch)

Join local favourites JOW for an evening of glorious music-making, marking the release of a new EP and (back by popular demand) the launch of their seasonal music-infused coffee collaboration with the Bagendon based masters of caffeine, Fire & Flow Coffee Roasters.

JOW is the cello and trumpet duo of James Gow (Eleven Magpies, Dau, etc) and Pete Judge (Get the Blessing, Three Cane Whale, etc), an acoustic instrumental duo with a distinctive blend of jazz, folk and classical chamber music, well-known around Bristol and further afield for their impromptu collaborations featuring musicians, poets, dancers and, yes!, even coffee roasters. Expect beauty, invention, and playful experimentation.

Alongside their signature interweaving of cello and trumpet, don’t be surprised if a special surprise guest or two pops up somewhere on this musical adventure. And then take away a bag of fine coffee for a loved one… (or yourself). Christmas will be round the corner…
