Taught by experienced working actors, this part-time foundation course, held at Tobacco Factory Theatres, prepares students for drama school auditions. Over the past ten years, it has built an extraordinary track record: with alumni at almost every accredited conservatoire in the
UK, it offers a crucial springboard for students and a pathway to
further training and careers.
This year’s showcase, Living Dangerously, is an eclectic and entertaining mix of monologues, scenes, songs and dances, woven together into the story that lies at the heart of our endeavours as actors and human beings.
HOSTED SHOWS
The Actors Workshop: College Foundation Course Showcase is one of our Hosted Shows. We regularly host shows and events by emerging artists, local community, education and amateur groups that we are proud to support. We also regularly make the theatre available for fundraising nights for locally based charitable organisations.
Volunteer Makers is proud to support Tobacco Factory Theatres in the community.
