    About

    Both of our theatre spaces at TFT are available for rehearsal hire at the same rate, offering flexible, spacious environments for artists, companies, and creative teams to develop new work.

    Rehearsal hire is space-only access, designed for independent use of the venue. No TFT technical or Duty Team support is provided during your hire, so this option works best for self-led rehearsals, devising, choreography, script development, and early-stage exploration.

    Rehearsal Hire Rate

    Half day (4hrs, Mon–Fri, 9:30–18:00): £170 + VAT

    Full day (8 hours, Mon–Fri, 9:30–18:00): £300 + VAT

    Weekend half day (4hrs): £190+VAT

    Weekend full day (8 hours): £320 + VAT

    Rehearsal hire is intended for self-sufficient working, so some restrictions may apply depending on the nature of your activity and the space.

    Artist Access

    Our Artist Access scheme includes last-minute discounted rehearsal hire in our theatre spaces for TFT Artist Members, offering a larger-scale environment for developing work.

    These spaces are well suited to rehearsal processes that need room to move, test staging, and explore ideas in a more expansive setting. They have supported a wide range of activity, including rehearsals, devising, script runs, and early-stage exploration.

    Artist Access theatre bookings are released close to the date of hire at a reduced rate and are subject to availability. It’s designed for artists working flexibly, offering a simple way to access larger spaces when the timing and work align.

    Who it’s for

    Artist Access is available to TFT Artist Members working across theatre, performance, and live art practices.
