    Launching TFT Business Circle

    The development team are excited to be launching the new TFT Business Circle.

    Here at TFT we understand that small businesses, local independents and family run organisations care about the communities they live and work in, but don’t always have same budget as larger corporations for the more expensive business club or sponsorship opportunities that  surrounds the sector.

    This is why we have created the TFT Business Circle. We hope that this new philanthropic offering will inspire like-minded local businesses who care about making a difference and help us bringing together local, independent businesses with a shared purpose: making the arts accessible to everyone in our community.

    This isn’t about sales targets or traditional networking. It’s about small businesses—sole traders, family-run companies, and local independents—coming together to support something truly meaningful: opening the doors to creativity, culture, and opportunity through the arts.

    Are you a local business who would like your business to stand for something beyond profit: something with real social impact?

    All we are asking for is a £250 pledge for a two-year membership, which can either be paid up front or in two annual installments of £125.

    What will the pledge help with?

    Tobacco Factory Arts Trust is a charity with community at the heart of what we do.  Your donation will go a long way in assisting us in making the arts accessible for everyone.

    To put it into a little context, £125 will pay for;

    • A Young Theatre Maker Bursary place for a full term
    • 5 fully subsidised tickets for young people to experience live professional theatre via our community performances, who would not otherwise have the means to be able to attend and have access to the arts.
    • A full adults bursary place on either our Writers Lab or Acting Lab for a 10-week course
    • £250 could cover the cost of a TFT facilitator visiting local youth groups looking at personal presentation and projection using theatrical skills for use in everyday life, such as interview settings or public speaking.
    • £500 will cover a BSL performance of our in-house Christmas production to allow as many people in our community to experience live theatre, reducing barriers to access. This allows the interpreter to pre-learn the script for the whole show as well as to be there to translate at the performance.

    In return for your support

    As a thank you there will be a dedicated heartfelt thank you display within the theatre itself seen by over 60,000 patrons every year that will showcase all members logos.

    You will receive invitations to annual events including the upcoming anniversary celebrations for our 25th year.
