Faith Fall

    About

Tobacco Factory Theatres in association with Òran Mór.

Christina is dying. Adam knew she was dying when he met her at a faith healing where they were paired together to pray for each other. But she didn’t know that he was a reporter, attending the healing under false pretenses, his faithless prayers hollow.

Months on, Adam loves this woman whose body is failing, but still hasn’t told her of his deceit. He is convinced that he let the devil in that day and now the devil is following him.

Frances Poet has spent over ten years working in a literary capacity for some of the UK’s foremost new writing houses. Through her previous roles as Literary Manager of the National Theatre of Scotland and Associate Director (Literary) of Hampstead Theatre before that, she has had the good fortune to commission and develop work with some of Britain’s most exciting established and emerging playwrights. This is Frances’ debut play.
