Our 2026 Christmas programme
Family favourites, comedy quizzes, songs, sketches and storytelling – welcome to Christmas 2026 at Tobacco Factory Theatres!
Our festive programme is a real celebration of theatre makers in Bristol. We warmly invite you to join us at the theatre this Christmas for our in-house production of A Christmas Carol and original works from Bristol-based Tiny & Tall Productions, comedy theatre company Living Spit, and the creatives behind ‘SCRAPS’; Mia Macleod and Daisy Kennedy.
A Chistmas Carol
20 NOVEMBER – 9 JANUARY
Our flagship in-house Christmas production!
Step into Dickensian Bristol on Christmas Eve. In this thrilling new adaptation by Carl Grose, co-directed by our CEO & Creative Director Heidi Vaughan along with Lydia Cook, the tale is revealed through the watchful eyes of Jacob Marley and his unruly band of spirits. It promises to be utterly mischievous, menacing and full of festive fire.
Little Snowy Hare
3 DECEMBER – 3 JANUARY
A magical adventure for children aged 2-5 and their grownups, from Bristol theatre company Tiny & Tall.
Filled with captivating puppetry, enchanting music and moments of wintery wonder, Little Snowy Hare is an uplifting story about curiosity, independence and finding your way. The show celebrates family, bravery and the joy of discovering what you can do all by yourself. The perfect introduction to the theatre for early years audiences.
It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Quizmas
3 DECEMBER – 5 JANUARY
A festive treat from Westcountry comedy legends Living Spit, gift-wrapped in unrecyclable quizzy paper!
Join Living Spit’s Holy host, Stu Mcloughlin, as he sings, dances and otherwise vaguely performs his way through ridiculous rounds, questionable facts, surprise challenges and enough festive foolery to make Santa fake an injury.
Scraps: Christmas Leftovers
20-22 DECEMBER
A festive spin-off from the hilarious Bristol based duo behind ‘SCRAPS’.
An original production full of sketch, dance, lip sync and clowning. Macleod and Kennedy bring a new story to rival the classics: Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special, Jools Holland’s Christmas Sack, that fuzzy home video of you opening presents (the last time you felt pure joy) and Game Of Thrones (The Red Wedding bit).
“an incredibly entertaining – and genuinely festive – show, produced with wit, precision, and gloriously wild humour” (Bristol 24/7)
