Young Theatre Makers is our weekly youth theatre for 4-18 year olds.
Led by a team of theatre professionals, our sessions cover a range of skills, forms and genres – including performing, writing, directing, devising, puppetry, sound design and more.
We experiment with new ideas and explore existing shows, inspired by the professional work on our stages. We work from a place of connection, curiosity, and creative expression to empower the next generation of bold and brilliant storytellers.
Whether you’re a young theatre fanatic, have enjoyed watching a show, or are still discovering what makes you tick, we’d love to welcome you to become a Young Theater Maker.

Meet your facilitators :
Reception Young Theatre Makers is directed by Hannah-Rose Wiltshire and assisted by Rhiannon Bird-Lewis.
Hannah-Rose Wiltshire is a drama facilitator, consultant, and mentor with over 10 years’ experience teaching students aged 18 months to 21 years. She specialises in early years drama, using storytelling and play to build children’s confidence, creativity, and independence.
Hannah-Rose is the founder and director of Drama with Hannah-Rose, a Bristol-based company offering imaginative drama adventures for young children. She also works as a freelance LAMDA teacher and has been the Youth Theatre Maker Director at Tobacco Factory Theatres for four years, alongside consulting with other theatres and organisations on their early years programmes.
‘I’m a facilitator, performer and theatre maker; specialising in physical theatre and clowning. I’m also a kung fu teacher and multi-disciplinary martial artist. I have an interest in how different disciplines can intersect; blending martial arts, poetry and music. I also enjoy writing scripts for young people, and often use rhyme and song within that. I enjoy working from a sense of childlike joy and curiosity; working by playing and creating with lots of ideas until something sticks!’

Pay What You Choose (PWYC)
By joining, you sign up for the whole term and can choose to pay £100 or £75 for the full term. The subsidised option is intended for lower income families. We also have bursary places available for people facing financial difficulty. It is important to us that anyone who wants to take part can do so. PLEASE NOTE when booking you will only see the first date of the sessions. By booking you are committing to all sessions as per the dates above.
