We’re so excited to be launching our Emerging Producers scheme in September and are looking for six of Bristol’s best budding Producers to work with us for the next year.
By joining us on this scheme, you’ll have access to exclusive masterclasses, unrivalled networking events, shadowing opportunities with Tobacco Factory Theatres staff and placements with other Bristol-based arts organisations. It is a surefire way to boost your steps into the industry!
You’ll also have the chance to produce your own events here at Tobacco Factory Theatres, including SPARK: A Festival of Art, where every space in the theatre (including the dressing rooms!) is programmed full of exciting new work created by young emerging artists from across Bristol.
But what is it really like to work with us, you may ask? Poppy (one of our current Young Producers) explains…
“Young Producers has given me the insight and knowledge to understand the multiple roles of a producer within theatre. I get to experience many incredible opportunities like shadowing rehearsals, watching shows and programming them for Tobacco Factory Theatres. My confidence has grown with this process and I feel so grateful to have my voice heard in supporting young people within the arts”.
