Dive into the everyday life of a transgender male through the relatable, hilarious and brutally honest lens of a northern working class family – from Jaden Adams
Whilst Jack navigates the hurdles of transition, the old family dynamics are shaken up. Will he find the courage to face his worst fears? Will he risk it all for love?!
Transparency is a transformational solo theatre performance written and performed by Jaden Adams. It moves through hard-hitting issues in a way that is at the same time vulnerable, jarring and heartwarming. Taking us through the uncomfortable, sobering and intriguing journey of a fully human transgender life, we hope it will break down the barriers between us.
The performance is written and performed by Jaden Adams who grew up on a council estate in Oldham. This is his first return to stage since transition. Transparency is supported by director Francesca Murray-Fuentes, writer Mary Cooper and acting coach Olwen May.
