This February half term Tessa Bide Productions returns to celebrate the company’s 10th birthday with their beautiful puppetry show for ages 3-8 and their families
It’s time to hear the Moon’s story, one you will NEVER forget…
Gather round, gather round for the Moon’s magical, mystical story about a tippetty-top tap dancer who he has been watching at night. Marina Skippett creeps out of her house every night to shuffle and stomp on the boardwalk to the sounds of the sea. She can’t tap dance at home anymore since her evil, tractor-sized Aunty banned it, threatening to feed Marina’s dinners to the dog! But then, one moonlit night, Marina meets a mysterious, watery boy called Leo swimming in the sea and her life is never the same again!
The “truly amazing one woman power house” Tessa Bide brings you her celebrated devised solo production, called “just everything a children’s theatre experience should be” (Childplays). There are stunning puppets, original live music to sing along to and tap dancing that will make you want to stick 50ps to your shoes and join in! For everyone aged 3 to 133.

TIME: 11am & 2pm
Relaxed performances – 11am & 2pm on Tuesday 14th February:
These performances are ‘relaxed’ performances to make the space feel more welcoming to those who might not feel very comfortable in a theatre setting. We will open the house earlier than normal (20 minutes before the show) to allow you/your child to become accustomed with the space. We will keep the house lights on dimly throughout (so it won’t get too dark) and the show’s sound will be set at a lower volume. We will keep the door open throughout so you feel welcome to leave/come back into the auditorium if you/your child needs. If you have any questions or further access needs, please let us know.
